Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton, born Jan. 19, 1946, in Locust Ridge Tenn. to an unlucky family of twelve children that would be raised with them eventually. She learned young the way to conquer of the difficulties she faced through her large and vivid imagination. Prior to learning how to compose or read and compose, she wrote herself with her own songs. When she was 8 at the time, she purchased the first electric guitar. Then she began singing on an Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. That same year when she began recording her debut album for Gold Band Records an independent small label. Despite being at school, she already established herself on the local scene. Her goal was to become more well-known. After graduating high school in 1964, she went to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first album to be charted on Monument Records. In the year 1967, Porter Wagoner was looking for the next girl to perform on his syndicated television show. Parton took the offer when she was signed in 1967 by RCA Records in 1968 and began singing for in the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. However she left Wagoner's show after 1974 because her solo songs like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene were out-charting their collaborations. Following their break-up, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and it went to No. In 1974, the track by Parton I Will Always Love You reached No.
