Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father at 2 years of age, moved to Miami and joined the family. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the presenter and host for Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado" which is among the most watched Spanish-language programs that the channel airs. The show was nominated for an Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in the year 2015. In 2015 it ranked at the top for all the key demos. Polo was born April 11, 1959 in Havana, Cuba and went on to study at Florida International University, where she received a diploma in political sciences. From there she earned the PhD in law from the University of Miami and practiced law for over 20 years in the city of Miami. After that, she earned the PhD in Law from the University of Miami. Polo was the first to make an appearance on television in 2001, as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized in other court shows. Literary Works and Accolades in 1958 she published the novel Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) and received the Critic's Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to the United States in 1960. Polo speaks frequently and helps collect money for the LGBT rights. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights throughout her career. She received her law degree in 1987 at the University of Miami School of Law.
