Torrie was one of wrestling's top athletes. Wilson emerged among the fields of potato, wheat and corn that Boise, Idaho is known for. Wilson, a budding fitness-model in the late 1990s was taken by her husband to WCW's backstage area on a trip to the ring. After being with Scott Steiner into the ring for a short time after which she was in the business for a total of 10 years. Although she did occasionally compete with WCW, Wilson was also managing competitors such as David Flair, Billy Kidman and The Filthy Animals and Shane Douglas. Wilson was hired by WWE as soon as WWE acquired WCW, in spring 2001. in one of the biggest eras in sports and entertainment Her athletic talent coupled with her love of entertainment were the ideal match for WWE. Wilson's friendship with her pal (and sometimes adversary) Stacy Keibler made her the key player in the WCW's assault on WWE. When the war was finally fought off, Wilson became a key part of the women's division in WWE, engaging in memorable rivalries alongside the likes of Keibler, Sable and Melina. Wilson stood up for her family from Dawn Marie.
